Built for the engines that still listen for a submission

Pinged every run
Reached through IndexNow
Submitted per run
Free every day
Paste, verify, then read the receipts.
Nothing to install and no feed to configure. The run happens server-side and returns a line for every service it touched.
Step 1
Paste up to 50 URLs
One URL per line, each an absolute address that returns 200 and is not marked noindex. Announcing a page that cannot be indexed wastes the run.
Step 2
Add an IndexNow key we can verify
Generate a key, save it as a plain text file at your site root, and paste the key here. We fetch that file and compare it to the key before a single URL reaches api.indexnow.org — if it does not match, we tell you instead of submitting anyway.
Step 3
Read every service, then export
Each of the 4 ping services and the IndexNow submission returns its own status and response time. Copy the result or download the CSV so the run is on the record.
The IndexNow responses and what each one means.
IndexNow answers with an HTTP status and almost nothing else, so the code is the whole diagnosis. These are the documented ones, and the two you will actually hit are 403 and 422.
| Code | Meaning | What it tells you | What to do | Common cause |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 200 | OK | The URLs were accepted and your key was recognised on the spot. | Nothing. Keep the key file where it is, because it will be checked again on the next submission. | A key file at the host root, reachable over HTTPS, containing exactly the key you submitted. |
| 202 | Accepted | The submission was received, but the key has not finished validating yet. | Leave the key file in place and check again shortly. Do not regenerate the key, which restarts the whole validation. | A first submission from a new key, before the engine has fetched and cached the key file. |
| 400 | Bad Request | The request itself was malformed, so nothing in it was read. | Check the body shape: host, key and urlList, with every URL absolute and including its scheme. | A missing field, a trailing comma in the JSON, or a URL pasted without https://. |
| 403 | Forbidden | The key could not be verified, so the submission was rejected outright. | Open the key file URL in a browser. It must return 200 and its body must be the key and nothing else — no BOM, no quotes, no trailing blank line you did not intend. | The key file is missing, returns 404, sits behind a redirect, or holds different text from the key you sent. |
| 422 | Unprocessable Entity | The key is fine but the URLs are not covered by it. | Submit only URLs on the same host as the key file, and keep one host per submission. | Mixing two domains in one urlList, or a keyLocation in a subdirectory that does not cover the URLs being sent. |
| 429 | Too Many Requests | You are submitting too often and are being throttled. | Stop resubmitting and wait. Send a URL again only when its content has genuinely changed. | Re-pinging the same unchanged URLs on a loop, or an automation firing on every build. |
These codes come from the IndexNow specification and are returned by the endpoint, not by us. We show whatever came back, unedited, next to the service that returned it.
The IndexNow key, in 3 literal pieces.
The key is the whole trust model: hosting the file at your root is how you prove the URLs are yours. Here is exactly what each piece looks like.
A key is 8 to 128 characters using only a-z, A-Z, 0-9 and dashes, and the file must contain the key on its own. If you cannot write to the site root, add a keyLocation pointing at the file — but it then only authorises URLs in that directory and below. The protocol allows 10,000 URLs per POST; this tool sends 50.
A short list of services and proof each one answered.
Every other page in this category asks you to trust a number. This one shows the response from each destination.
Four of them, named, contacted one by one.
4 named services
Pingomatic, Twingly, PubSubHubbub and Superfeedr. Not an unverifiable claim of 65 endpoints, most of which stopped resolving years ago.
Key file verification
We fetch your key file and compare it to the key you pasted before anything is submitted, so a broken setup fails here rather than silently at the endpoint.
The moments a ping still earns its keep.
Pinging is a narrower tool than it was a decade ago. These are the 4 cases where it is still worth the run.
A batch of pages just went live
After a deploy, paste the new URLs so the IndexNow engines hear about them directly instead of waiting for the next crawl to stumble across them.
Your audience is on Bing, Yandex, Naver or Seznam
IndexNow reaches exactly those engines, which matters far more if you publish for Korean, Czech or Russian-speaking readers than if Google is your only source of traffic.
You maintain a feed with real subscribers
Pingomatic, Twingly, PubSubHubbub and Superfeedr are feed-era plumbing, and they still push updates to aggregators and readers that consume your RSS or Atom feed.
You are proving an IndexNow setup works
403 and 422 are where every setup breaks. One run tells you whether your key file is reachable, correct and scoped to the URLs you intend to submit.
How this differs from the alternatives.
Calling the IndexNow API yourself and the free mass-ping tools each beat us at something real. This is where each one is genuinely stronger.

Pinging, answered without the folklore.
How do I ping my URL or ping my website?
Paste your URL and read each response.
Paste your public URL into the tool and run ping submission. The ping submission website reports the response from each supported service; it does not guarantee that a page will be indexed.
Is it safe to mass ping my link?
Submit real changes within service limits.
Use mass ping only for pages you own that are new or have changed. Repeatedly submitting unchanged pages wastes requests and may trigger service limits; submitting a URL does not improve its quality or rankings.
Which ping submission sites still work?
Four named services; every response shown.
This tool contacts Pingomatic, Twingly, PubSubHubbub and Superfeedr and reports each response, including failures. These feed-oriented ping submission sites serve different purposes from search-engine indexing.
The 4 services this tool contacts.
These 4 services are update aggregators and WebSub hubs: they tell feed readers, subscribers and republishers that a URL changed. None of them is a search engine and none of them runs an indexing API, so a 200 here means the notification was accepted and nothing more.
- Pingomatic
- Twingly
- PubSubHubbub
- Superfeedr
Ping 4 services and submit to IndexNow.
3 free runs a day, up to 50 URLs each, with a status and a response time for every destination. Google is not one of them, and we would rather say so than sell you a 404.
Does a ping index my website on Google?
No. A ping index request cannot guarantee indexing, and Google has retired its sitemap ping endpoint. Use Search Console, a crawlable page and an accurate sitemap for Google.
Can I ping my URLs in bulk with IndexNow?
Yes: submit up to 50 changed URLs on the same host using your own verified IndexNow key. IndexNow notifies participating search engines; it does not guarantee crawling or indexing.
What is IndexNow?
IndexNow is a protocol for notifying participating search engines about changed URLs. Host your own key file to prove ownership; Google does not support this submission route.
